Electronics Design Group, Inc., an Electronic Systems Integrator (ESC) headquartered in Piscataway NJ, was the recipient of the prestigious national award for Best Home Theater at the annual CEDIA (Custom Design & Installation Association) Awards competition. The CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards program honors the top home technology projects designed and installed by CEDIA members in seven categories, including Best Integrated Home, Best Media Room, Best Home Theater, and Best Personal Craft. The Award winners were determined by a panel of expert judges that included fellow ESCs, Architects and Interior designers. Submitted projects were awarded for innovation, creativity, and technological design.
Since inception, Electronics Design Group (EDG) has won a total of 70 national awards for its excellence in technical design and business acumen. No other ESC in the country has received accolades of this magnitude.

The winning project ‘LUCID BLUE’ won for Best Home Theater Technical Design. Why LUCID BLUE? “It’s clear from the minute you walk in the room, that this is no ordinary theater. A hush of quiet takes over, luxury and craftsmanship surrounds you, and the picture and sound will leave you speechless,” said Bob Gullo, President and Chief Creative Officer at EDG. The system, designed for ease of use using Crestron Controls, makes operation simple and intuitive. This home theater is surrounded by custom architectural stretch fabric over sound control panels, which provide acoustical attenuation of the 7.2 Channel Integra Processor and Amplifier. The video is powered by the highly acclaimed Sony VPL-VW1100ES 4K Ultra HD Projector and is displayed on a 10’ wide, 2:35 aspect ratio cinema widescreen. Totem Acoustics TRIBE Loudspeakers, easily play at reference volume levels, providing the realism of a premium commercial cinema, with the finesse of finest audiophile sound.
