Earlier this week Samsung kicked off their Five-Day Samsung SpaceFest Festival, taking place at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in NYC. The festival includes a variety of exhibits, demonstrations and of course one very enticing product launch.

Showcasing several new groundbreaking innovations throughout SpaceFest, Samusung unveiled their new 75-inch ES9000 LED Smart 3D TV, which is promising to deliver a “larger-than-life, extra-premium experience”.

The new Smart TV will also be accompanied by what the manufacturer is calling a timeless new design concept – and it certainly that spares no expense—incorporating a beautiful rose-gold-colored finish and super-slim 0.31 inch curved bezel with no visible seams.

The TV comes equipped with a built-in web camera is usable alongside video calling applications such as Skype. Hidden within the top of the bezel makes the camera nearly invisible as well as disabled when not in use, allowing for the component to simply “pop up” when needed. The ES9000 also comes with four pairs of 3D glasses, guaranteeing that the whole family can join in on the immersive, entertainment experience.

Furthermore, the ES9000 includes the complete suite of Samsung Smart TV features, ranging from Smart Interaction, Smart Content and Smart Evolution, which were each introduced earlier this year. According to Samsung:

  • Smart Interaction enables users to control and interact with their TVs in a more intuitive way through voice, gesture and facial recognition controls.
  • Smart Content makes available a broad range of premium and signature content that can be shared across multiple devices.
  • And, Smart Evolution, which is available on select Samsung Smart TVs, allows users to upgrade TV performance, content and features with a Smart Evolution Kit – sold separately in 2013.

Along with the ES9000, the entertainment giant also revealed a new Angry Birds App for its Samsung Smart Interaction-enabled TVs. This new app makes it possible to enjoy the Angry Birds game that everyone knows and loves through the use of gesture controls –that’s right, no controller needed. The app can be downloaded for free later this month on Samsung 2012 LED 7500 and up models as well as Plasma 8000 models.

Whether it is out of this world electronics or new controller-free apps, Samsung always goes above and beyond to give consumers what they want. Our guess? The new 75-inch ES9000 LED Smart TV will make many wonder how you ever watched TV before.
