Think about all of the times you have been waiting to take a group picture and had to hold a pose as someone took the same picture on everyone’s individual cameras and smartphones one-by-one. It’s happened to everyone at some point.
Facebook thinks they have the solution to this problem. They released an application called Facebook Moments to add an easier way to privately share photos with friends.
In today’s world, everyone has a phone at their fingertips. We take so many photos of other people and more often than not, a large number of those of photos never make it to the people who are in them. It is a challenge to get the photos your friends have taken of you. Even when you do manage to get your hands on them, keeping those pictures organized can be complicated.
That’s where Moments comes in!
At any given event, large numbers of people are taking pictures any point in time. Moments creates a quick way to share your photos of others while getting other people’s pictures of yourself. It can be used for any event.
The app groups photos based on who is in them and where they are taken. The facial recognition capabilities utilize the same technology used to suggest tags on Facebook.
Overall, this app helps keep photos more organized and synced across all of your devices. You can search for pictures you’re in as well as any of your specific Facebook friends.
The app is available for download in the App Store and Google Play today.
