Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 13, 2014

The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) held its 25th annual Exposition (EXPO) on September 10-13, 2014 at the Colorado Convention Center. During the CEDIA EXPO, Electronics Design Group (EDG), an Electronic Systems Integrator (ESI) headquartered in Piscataway NJ, won 3 different awards for 2 of their electronics integration projects.

At its Electronic Lifestyles Designer Awards Celebration on Saturday, September 13th, CEDIA awarded EDG with two wins in the Best Integrated Home category. EDG won the Bronze award for a project called, “Subtle High Society” ($125K-$250K price range) and the Silver award for a second project nicknamed, “Back to the Future 1900s” (valued in the $250k-$450K price range). To date, EDG’s Electronic Lifestyles Awards count reaches 33. “It’s an honor to win again this year and we love, and are proud of, what we do so we hope to win a few more trophies in the years to come”, said Bob Gullo, President of Electronics Design Group. Since its founding in 1987, EDG has won a total of 67 national awards for its excellence in technical design and business acumen. No other ESI in the country has received accolades of this magnitude.

Judging criteria for CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles Designer Awards required that an integrated home feature at least two residential electronic systems (i.e. audio/video, lighting control, security, HVAC) installed by an ESI. The systems had to enhance convenience, safety, and reliability for the client. The Electronic Lifestyles Designer Awards competition honors the top home technology projects designed by electronic systems professionals. Awards are meant to recognize innovation, creativity, and technical skills.

In conjunction with the CEDIA EXPO, at its 10th annual awards ceremony on Friday, September 12th, Crestron Electronics announced the winners of the Crestron Integration Awards, bestowing on EDG a trophy in the Awesome Audio category. EDG was named a Bronze award winner for its “Subtle High Society” project. The Awesome Audio award is given to the residential project with the best use of Crestron technologies in a multi room, zoned audio, and/or surround sound installation. This is Electronics Design Group’s 5th Crestron Integration Award since the competition’s inception. “The Crestron Integration Awards spotlight amazing projects featuring Crestron technology,” said Joyce Essig, Crestron Public Relations Manager.  “This year, we are pleased to award Electronics Design Group with the Awesome Audio award for their work. The EDG team created a system design that maximized entertainment for the client, while minimizing the appearance of technology. Crestron congratulates EDG and wishes them continued success.” Crestron Integration Awards honor the year’s most spectacular and innovative system designs.
